Carolyn Danburg

Carolyn Sue Sides Danburg, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away May 24, 2022, at the age of 81. She was born on October 22, 1940, in Baton Rouge.

Ms. Danburg was a member of Zoar Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Louisiana State University where she was an LSU Golden Girl and a member of Delta Gamma. She was also a retired physical education teacher for the East Baton Rouge School System.

Ms. Danburg is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Caroline and Will Gautreaux; grandchildren, Noah Danburg, Camille Gautreaux, and Claudia Gautreaux; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Janet Sides; nieces and nephews, Charlie Sides, Amy Cabarian, and Mary Roddenbery; and close family friends, Lisa Stafford, JoAnn Venable, Patsy DeLee, and ElvaJo Crawford.

She is proceeded in death by her mother, Florence Sides; father, George Sides; brother, Bill Sides; and son, Mark Danburg.
