Youla "Tut" James, age 95, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, July 14, 2018. A resident and native of St. Amant, LA. Visiting at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 44450 Hwy. 429, St. Amant, LA on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Rev. Joshua Johnson. Entombment at Holy Rosary Mausoleum. Survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Loretta J. and Henry Kinler, and Annette J. and Al St. Pierre; three sons and daughters-in-law, Kermit J. and Kathy James, Randy P. and Mary James, and Paul J. James and Angela Artigue; three sisters, Yvonne Arellano, Leonatine Morin, and Deanna Decoteau; twelve grandchildren, Jeffery Braud and wife, Denise, Stacey Poche and husband, Russ, Stephanie Andra, Kevin Andra and wife, Gerri, Leslie Dupuy and husband, Rodney, Bryan James and wife, Cammie, Jesse James and wife, Missy, Brandy James, Kylei Josey and fiance', Josh Landry, Jacob Josey, Tristyn James, and Kyrstin Carpenter; twelve great grandchildren, Cooper Braud, Miranda Poche, Dakota Andra, Briez Bourgeois, Bant Andra, Montana Dupuy, Abby James, Cameron James, Maryella James, Madison James, Harlei Josey, and Harper Josey; and great-great grandchild, Korbin Andra. Preceded in death by her husband, Hyrom E. James; daughter, Hermine J. Himel; two grandchildren, Mary Andra and Trevor Poche; parents, Omar and Emma Parent; three sisters, Bertha Kamer, Youland Morin, and Eva Parent; and four brothers, Orillie, Orilliean, Oneal, and A.J.
