A resident of Prairieville, she died on Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at the Baton Rouge Medical Center, Bluebonnet. She was 70. Visiting at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 West New River St., Gonzales on Thursday, July 9, 2009 from 5:30 pm until 8pm. Visitation on Friday, July 10, 2009 will resume at 10am, at Broussard Grove Baptist Church, 39258 Hwy 42, in Prairieville. Rev. Charles Marceaux and Rev. Roger Russell will conduct religious services at 11am. Burial will follow in the Carpenters Chapel Cemetery. She is survived by her son, Gary Knight and his wife Wendy, two daughters; Judy Isbelle and husband Jimmy of Natchez, MS and Patsy Meades and husband Jerry; three sisters, Doris Vaughn, Shirley Sandifer of Memphis, TN and Lydie Vick on Jackson, MS, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hamp and Rena Finley, her husband, Warrren Bob Knight, daughter, Lynn Knight and son, Earl Knight. She was a member of Broussard Grove Baptist Church.
