Wilmer Arnold

Wilmer Arnold, Born August 12th, 1924, died peacefully in his sleep March 16th 2009 at the age of 84. A resident of Prairieville and a retired lineman from Dixie Electric, he is survived my his son and daughter-n-law; Norris and Margaret Arnold, 4 grandchildren; Dalynn Babin, David Arnold, Daniel Arnold and Dana Arnold. 11 Grandchildren; Kayla, Tate, Taylor, Chelsie, Chassidy, Markie, Danielle, Katie, Katlyn, Chaz and Drake. 2 sister; Lutille Bea McGlothlim and Gladys Guin and numerous nieces and nephews. Proceeded in death by his parents; Benjamin and Laura Arnold, his wife; Olee Ferguson Arnold, sisters; Elsie Arnold and Lucille TatGowen and a Brother; Wilford Bill Arnold . Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 from 5pm until 9pm at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 West New River St . , Gonzales. Visitation will resume on Thursday beginning at 9am. Religious services will be conducted by Rev. Leon Carpenter in the funeral home chapel at 11am. Burial will follow in Carpenters Chapel Cemetery . www.ascensionfuneral.com
