A kind, gentle and devoted man whose smiling face brought joy to those he touched. Memories of you fill our hearts with love. A native and resident of Gonzales, La., passed away at the age of 89 in his home at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2013. He was anArmyveteran ofWWIIand was a recipient of thePurple Heart. Visiting will be on Friday, May 31, 2013 at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church in Gonzales from 9:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. conducted by Rev. Gary Belsome. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory in Baton Rouge. Survived by his children, Michael of Cheneyville, La., Karen of Gonzales, Maribeth of Houston and Terry of Gonzales one brother, Denver Loupe and 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline Loupe 1 brother, Eugene Loupe 2 sisters, Brunhilda Sheets and Mildred Kimble. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to theSt. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 381059956.
