William Verbois

William Sidney Verbois went to be with his Lord Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at his home. He was born May 5, 1922 and was a graduate of Acadia Baptist Academy, Eunice, Louisiana. A veteran of World War II, he served in the Coast Guard and worked as a printer for his whole career. He served the Lord in churches in Baton Rouge and has been a member of First Baptist, Gonzales for many years. Heis gental humor and quick wit will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Gwynn Webb Verbois, son WilliamBill S. Verbois Jr. and wife Linda, daughters Madelyn Edens husband Mike, and Jeri Gremillion and husband Ray brother George Duncan, Rachel Gremillion, Lynette Gremillion Charles Gremillion and 3 great grandchildren Sydnie Stella Duncan and Trajan Sands. Visitation will be Friday, October 14, 911a.m. at First Baptist Church, Gonzales followed by funeral at 11a.m. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery.
