Wanda Gayle Brannon

Wanda Gayle Brannon,

Born on February 1, 1951, she was 73 years old. A native of Baton Rouge and a resident of Prairieville, Louisiana. She passed away on Friday, June 28th2024 at 10:30 A.M. in Denham Springs. The family would like to thank the staff at Harvest Manor for providing her with great care. Wanda is survived by her brother, James Wilson (Carla), her sister, Cyndi Causey (Gary), and her son, John Ballard Jr. (Tandi), her seven grandchildren Brian Ballard, Trevor Ballard, Hunter Ballard, and Kyrsty Gonzales, Hayes Meeks, Klye Paille and Brayden Paille. Her two great grandchildren Kaidyn David and Kylor David, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

She is proceeded in death by her beloved and devoted husband-Michael Brannon, her son-Shawn Ballard, her daughter, Ginnifer Ballard, her mother-Mary Fleda Wilson, and her Farther-Lennon James Wilson.

 Wanda was a devoted care giver for her grandchildren and great grandchildren and loved spending time with her family and friends.

 A celebration of life will be held in her memory at Ascension Funeral Home: 426 W New River Street, Gonzales, LA 70737 on July 6th2024 Visitation will be 10:00 A.M-12:30 P.M. Eulogy 12:30 PM-1:00PM.
