Wanda Acosta

A homemaker, she died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2010, at her home in Gonzales. She was 50 and a native of Donaldsonville. Visiting at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., Gonzales, Thursday, Oct. 21, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Jules Catholic Church, 7165 La. 1, Belle Rose, on Friday, Oct. 22, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Jason Labb, celebrant. Interment in church cemetery. Survived by her son, Travis Acosta and wife Wendy two sisters, Robin Cawley and husband Danny, and Bonnie Millien sisterinlaw, Elaine Chachati four brothers, Richard Chachati and wife Debi, Jeff Millien and wife Becky, Billy Joe Millien, and Kerry Millien and wife Hiedi two grandchildren, Anabelle and Giana Acosta and numerous nieces, nephews and family members. Preceded in death by her parents, John and Annie Lauri Millien and brother, Victor Peter Chachati. Special thanks to her caretakers.
