Virginia "Ginger" Dodgen, age 63, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2015, at 7:33 p.m. at The Carpenter House in Baton Rouge, LA. A resident of French Settlement, LA and native of Jennings and Lake Arthur, LA. She worked for Pinnacle Healthcare. Visiting at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., Gonzales, on Friday, November 13, 2015, from 12:00 noon until memorial service at 2:00 p.m. Survived by her husband, Arthur W. Dodgen of 42 years of marriage; daughter, Sara Melissa McNease; son, Joseph Arthur Dodgen; and two grandchildren, Emma Lynn Dodgen and Zachary Samual Dodgen.
