Victor Pedescleaux, age 96, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2018 at Jefferson Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Baton Rouge, LA at 1:47 p.m. A resident of Darrow, LA and native of Donaldsonville, LA. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served during World War II. He retired as a middle school teacher with the Ascension Parish School System. Visiting on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at St. Phillip Baptist Church, Donaldsonville, LA from 9:00 a.m. until service at 10:00 a.m. conducted by Pastor Roland Julien. Visiting and dismissal at Ebenezer Baptist Church, at 1:00 p.m. conducted by Pastor Earl Bell. Burial at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery. Survived by his wife, Ann Sylvia Pedscleaux; daughter, Warrine Lightfoot; grandson, Marichall Lightfoot; three great grandchildren, Ashley, Amber, and A'Cara; four great-great grandchildren; church families of Ebenezer Baptist Church, Darrow, LA and St. Phillip Baptist Church, Modeste, LA; and the adopted family of Ann and Victor Pedescleaux, Juliette Vinning and her four children. Preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Pedescleaux and Orelia Williams Pedescleaux; seven brothers, Eldredge, Clarence, Euglid, Percy, Charles, Dennis, and Ernest; and a sister, Virginia.
