Verna Kendig

Verna Gore Kendig passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 5:45 am at her home in Gonzales, LA at the age of 89 years old. She was born in St. Amant, LA. She was a retired clerk from Insurance Selective.
A memorial service will be held Monday, April 27, 2015 at 6:00 pm at her home. Inurnment will be at Branchville Cemetery in Branchville, New Jersey.
She was loved by many nieces, nephews and cousins, too many to name everyone.
She was taken care of in her later years of life by her nieces, Allie Wilson and husband David, Nancy Morgan, Amber Hunter and Sheila Wells.
Survived by daughter-in-law, Stephanie Hawkins of Canada; sister-in-law, Atrice Gore; brother-in-law, Julius (Gov) Braud; close friends, Lynne Franks, Phoebe Jacobs, and Alvin Clavo.
Preceded in death by her husbands, Harvey Herdman and John Kendig; son, Ronnie Herdman; parents, Forest and Eveline Gore; five sisters and five brothers.
