Tyra Kay Cooper passed away Friday, September at 2:13 pm at Our Lady of the Lady Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, LA. She was born to Nelda Denham Cooper and Allen B. Cooper on August 24, 1970. She graduated from St. Amant High School and served a short time in the U.S. Marine Corps. She was a painter. Visiting at Ascension Funeral Home 426 West New River St. in Gonzales on Saturday September 25, 2021, from 9:00 am until service at 10:00 a.m., burial in Hope Haven Garden of Memory. She is survived by her father Allen Cooper; stepmother, Sue Bradley; seven brothers, Philip Coppins, Mark Coppins, Michael Cooper, William Bradley, Randy Bradley, Michael Bradley, and Steve Guitreau, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother Nelda Cooper; four brothers, Tommy Cooper, Craig Guitreau, Pete Bradley, and Phil Guitreau; four nephews, Steve Guitreau, Jr., Phil Guitreau, Jr., and Steve Ware; niece, Millie Bradley. Pallbearers will be Steve Guitreau, Philip Coppins, William Bradley, Chad Graham, Justin Graham, and Joey Zubek.
