Tonya Lynn Folks

Tonya Lynn Folks passed away after a long battle with cancer on October 9th, 2024, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. She was born on February 19th, 1976. She was a resident of Gonzales.

Tonya is survived by her daughters, Tyler Dauzat and Trinity Latham; sister, Gina Folks; brother, Terry Folks; grandchildren, Hayden Lessard, Zayden Lessard, Za’niya Dauzat, Gaige Lessard, Hayzlee Dauzat and Sade Smith; close family, Joseph Lessard, Tara Carrier, and Donna Braud; and numerous nieces, nephews, close family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, Gerald Folks; mother, Jennie Folks; and stepfather, Mack Delaune.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 17th, 2024, at Christ Healing Community Church, 404 W. Pine St., Gonzales, from 9:00am until the funeral service at 11:00am in the church.
