Spaulding Sparky L. Cedotal Jr. a retired teamster and an avid sportsman, resident and native of Gonzales, LA passed away at 10:30 am, Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2014 at The Crossing at Clarity Hospice in Baton Rouge, LA. Visiting at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., Friday, Oct. 10, 2014, 5 pm to 8 pm.Visiting on Saturday 8 am until service at 10 am, conducted by Pastor Melvin Meister. Interment at St. Amant Baptist Cemetery. Survived by one son and daughterinlaw, Paul M. and Kristien Cedotal four brothers: James A. Cedotal and wife, Glenda, Jeffrey W. Cedotal and wife, Cathy, Michael D. Cedotal, and Gregory D. Cedotal and wife, Sharon and four grandchildren: Trinitie, Lisa, Kaci and Laci Cedotal. Preceded in death by parents, Spaulding L., Sr. and Helen Cedotal brother, Jasen P. Cedotal, and sisterinlaw, Mary Lou Cedotal. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Head of Island.
