Ruth Duplessis

Ruth Elliott Duplessis passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at 9:50 pm at Meadowview Health and Rehabilitation Center in Minden, LA. She was 76 years old. A native of Baton Rouge, LA and resident of St. Gabriel, LA. Visiting at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014 from 9:00 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am conducted by Rev. Charlie Landry. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Survived by husband, Ivy J. Duplessis daughters, Loretta Lynn Anderson and fiance Randall Coile, and Carla Diane Tarver brother, George H. Griggs and wife, Maudine grandchildren, Shane Tarver, Ryan Granger and wife Jill, and Austin Granger greatgrandchildren, Kane Granger, Hope Granger and Linkin Tarver numerous nieces, great nieces, nephews and great nephews. Preceded in death by parents, George and Evelyn Griggs sister, Patsy Griggs brother, Jimmy Griggs granddaughter, Crystal Tarver son, Jerry Elliott.
Pallbearers will be Randall Coile, Ryan Granger, Austin Granger, George Griggs, Michael Griggs and John Rieken. She was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church.
