Rubyola Merino

Rubyola Amie Merino passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 6:26 pm at Gonzales Health Care Center in Gonzales, LA. She was 91 years old and born on December 18, 1923 in Sorrento, LA and a resident of Sunshine, LA. She was a LA Practical Nurse and was very proud of being a nurse. It was her request not to have a funeral service. There will be a graveside service for close family and friends at St. Gabriel Catholic Cemetery. The date and time will be announced later.
Survived by two sons; Richard Cambre and Eroyl Cambre; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents; Lawrence and Hellen Gautreau Amie; husbands, Richard Cambre and Tony Merino; son, Wayne Cambre.
The family wants to thank the nurses and staff at Gonzales Health Care Center and Southern Care Hospice for the care given to their mother.
