Roy Latino, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 9:30 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Gonzales, LA. He was 78, a native, and resident of Donaldsonville, LA. For many years, he was self-employed in the trucking business and towing service. He was currently employed by Donaldsonville Glass and Body Works. He was a member of Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church. Visiting will be on Saturday, April 29, 2017, at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church from 8:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. celebrated by Father Joseph Vu. Entombment in the church mausoleum. Survived by his wife, Jo Ann Latino; daughter, Jessica Frederic and husband, Kenny; two sons, Mike Latino and wife, Jamie, and Billy Latino and wife, Lori; six grandchildren, Kenny Frederic and wife, Jenna, Nick Frederic, Krystal Latino, Shelby Latino LeBlanc and husband, Jon, Elizabeth Ann Latino, and Jacob Latino; three great grandchildren, Claire and Collin Frederic, and Ethan LeBlanc; a special great niece, Ashlyn Montero; two step grandchildren, Chad Frederic, and Kim Dupin and husband, Pat; and four step great grandchildren, Bailey, Toby, Tyler, and Bradley Dupin. Preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Latino; his parents, Joseph and Frances Latino; sister, Jenny Landry; and two brothers, Marion Latino, and Bean Latino. His passions were classic cars, drag racing, and dancing. Family would like to send a special thanks to Tony Tureau for his care and support.
