Robert Mire

Robert "Bobby" J. Mire, a resident of Gonzales, passed away May 25th, 2024, at his residence at the age of 74. He was born September 16, 1949, in Union, LA.

Bobby was an avid fisherman, golfer, and hunter. He could fix anything that he worked on. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Dale Marie Mitchell Mire, 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Glen and Angelia Mire and Joey and Stephanie Mire, 3 grandchildren, Madison, Callen, and Colton Mire, brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Barbara Mire, sister, Mary Smiley, sister and brother-in-law, Janet and Mark Dupepe, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Karen and Jimmy Jones, 2 brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Nathen and Sharon Mitchell and Morris and Tanya Mitchell, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Allie J. Mire and Elizabeth Betty Haydel Mire, and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Doris Theresa Mitchell and Fred Louis Mitchell, Jr.

A memorial service for Bobby will be held at a later date.
