Robert L. "Bob" Arceneaux Sr., age 77, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2019 at Our Lady of the Lake Ascension Community Hospital in Gonzales, LA at 6:11 p.m. A resident of Gonzales, LA and native of St. James, LA. Visiting at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., Gonzales, LA on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. until service at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Rev. Herbert Harris. Survived by his loving companion, Regina F. Rivere; three daughters, Kim Whittington and husband, Hank, Carmen Ryland and husband, Mike, and Melissa Johnson and husband, Anthony; three sons, Robert L. Arceneaux Jr. and wife, Karina, Arestile D. Arceneaux and wife, Bonnie, and Jonothan Arceneaux and wife, Courtney; nephew, Thomas Arceneaux; sister, Myrtle Stein and husband, Joe; brother, James "Jimmy" Arceneaux and wife, Gloria; eighteen grandchildren; and twenty-three great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Daniel L. and Ludivine Arceneaux; two wives, Vollie Carnley, and Marjorie D. Arceneaux; son, Keith Arceneaux; daughter, Leslie C.
