Rita Spillman, age 77, passed away on Monday, July 16, 2018 at Ochsner Medical Center in Baton Rouge, LA at 5:50 p.m. A resident of Springfield, LA and native of Deridder, LA. Visiting at The Celebration Church, 33135 Hwy. 16, Denham Springs, LA on Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until service at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Pastor Bud Plake. Burial at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Baker, LA. Survived by her daughter, Debbie Spillman and husband, Forrest Temple; three sons, Vernon Spillman and wife, Tracey, Darryl Spillman and wife, Lori, and Vic Spillman and wife, Tracy; two sisters, Bobbie Spillman and Patricia Ann Newman and husband, Ray; nine grandchildren, Victoria Spillman, Anna Spillman, Caleb A. Spillman, Wyatt Spillman, Bailee Spillman, Justin Boyd, Misty Vosburg, Matthew Spillman, and Madison Brennan; six great grandchildren, Aubrey Spillman, Brett Spillman, Caleb Spillman, Dalton Jernigan, Rhett Vosburg, and Ryder Vosburg; and two great-great grandchildren, Preston and Carrick Spillman. Preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Spillman; parents, Kay and Lottie Hare; brothers, Allen and Donald Hare; grandson, Steven Wade Prescott; and great grandson, Gregory Spillman.
