Randy Jamison, age 55, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2016, at his home. A native of California and longtime resident of Prairieville, LA. He was retired owner of R. J. Maintenance. He built race cars and won many races. He had the honor many times of starting the race by driving around the race track with the American flag. He and his car was known as 007. The racing community will retire his number 007 in honor of his love for racing. His love for his wife and children was unmeasurable. Visiting on Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., Gonzales, LA, from 10:00 a.m. until service at 1:00 p.m. Burial at Serenity Oaks Memorial Park. Survived by his wife, Nickki Jamison; father, Dick Jamison and wife, Ellen; mother, Barbara Stuart; daughters, Brooke Powell and Ragen Jamison Dufour and husband, Sean; sister, Jerri Boone and husband, Lonnie; grandson, Channing Daniel Powell; niece, Jodi McKennon and husband, Neal; two nephews, Clay Boone and Mikey Poly; and two great nieces, Avery and Aubrey Jo. Preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Jo Eisner; maternal grandparents, Robert and Hazel Starnes; paternal grandparents, Joseph and Helen Jamison; and step father, Fred Stuart.
