R.C. "Rod" Baze, Jr. a long-time employee with Shell Chemical.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Baze; stepson, Derek Nystrom; daughters, Tahnee Baze, Desiree Savoy (husband Mike); sister, Virgina Baze; grandchildren, Nick Pupera (wife Megan), Daisy Savoy; great granddaughter, Sophie Pupera, and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 19th, 2024, at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., Gonzales, from 12:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel.
