Phil Guitreau, Sr

A resident of Gonzales, he died on Thursday, April 1, 2010. He was 49. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 5, 2010 at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 West New River Street, Gonzales from 5pm until 9pm. The parlor will reopen on Tuesday at 10:30am. Pastor Bruce Stringer will conduct funeral services in the funeral home chapel at 11am. Burial will follow in Hope Haven Cemetery, Hwy 30, Gonzales. He is survived by his wife, Angel D. Guitreau, a son, Phil David Guitreau, Jr., his brother, Stephen Paul Guitreau, Sr. and wife Nona, sisterinlaw, Rhonda Guitreau, a sister, Tyra Cooper, Stepfather, Allen B. Cooper.
