Patricia Templet

A resident of Gonzales, she died Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She was 66. Visitation will be held at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 West New River St., Gonzales, on Thursday, September 3, 2009 from 5pm until 9pm. Visitation on Friday will be held at First Baptist Church, 1217 S. Burnside, Gonzales beginning at 9am. Dr. James Law will conduct funeral services at 11am. Burial will follow in Lusk Cemetery. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jimmie Templet; two daughters, Rita Templet and Peggy Garcia, grandson, Kenneth Kenny Templet who was also their adoptive son, grandchildren, Natasha Moore and Brooke Babin and three brothers, Calvin Morales, Jr. and Roland Morales, both of MS and Michael Morales of Vacherie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin Morales, Sr. and Joyce DeBlanc. Pallbearers will be John Unger, John Moore, Marcus Garcia, Lionel Templet, Floyd Templet and Ernest Templet.
