Otis Mcneese

January 6, 1925 — April 15, 2015

Called home on April 15, 2015 after 90 years on Earth. Born in Washington Parish, lived in New Orleans, LA, Picayune, MS and Galvez, LA.
He worked for R.E. Neumann Electric and Frischertz Electric Co. and served as a Navy Quartermaster in WWII and Korea.
Visiting at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., Gonzales, LA on Sunday, April 19, 2015 from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
Private military graveside service at Port Hudson National Cemetery.
He is survived by his children, Kathleen Matzen and Michael McNeese; grandchildren, Aimee Matzen, Michelle Haigood, USAF SSgt. Angela McNeese Love (Christopher) and Daniel McNeese (Michelle Mueller); great-grandchildren, Olivia and Megan Haigood, Jayden and Lucas McNeese. Also survived by a sister Lois Holmes and a grandson-in-law Christopher Haigood.
Preceded in death by his "perfect wife" of 62 years, Lois Edmonds McNeese; parents, Maud Walker and Prentiss Oceola McNeese and a sister, Audrey Rosenbach.
