Morris Rusha

Morris E. "Moe" Rusha, age 84, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2017, at 5:30 a.m., at the Southeast Louisiana War Veterans Home in Reserve, LA. A resident of Gonzales, LA and native of Reserve, LA. He was an U. S. Army veteran, served during the Korean War. He retired from the LA Department of Transportation & Development. Visiting at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., Gonzales, LA on Monday, April 24, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until service at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Rev. Jerry Martin. Burial at Cornerview Cemetery. Survived by his son, Pat Rusha; grandson, Patrick Rusha; and great grandson, Zayne Morris Rusha. Preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline Diez Rusha; and parents, Edwin Morris and Marguerite Weber Rusha. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
