Molly Labauve

Molly "Jean Lockwood" LaBauve passed away peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by her family at home in Baton Rouge, LA on Friday, May 20, 2016, at 10:45 a.m. She was a graduate of Baton Rouge High School and was a retired secretary for Wayne D. Swenson, a developer in Baton Rouge. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Nothing gave her more joy than spending time with her family especially her grandkids. Jean is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jules A. "Bo" LaBauve Sr.; son, Jules A. "T-Bo" LaBauve Jr. and wife, Denise; daughter, Beverly Jean Creel and husband, David; sister, Eula Estelle Lockwood and daughter, Heidi Lynn Lockwood; four grandchildren, Jacob Wayne LaBauve, Claire Marie LaBauve, Houston Brock Creel, and Carson Fisher Creel; two half-sisters, Kathy and Terry; and a half-brother, Billy. She was a member of St. Jean Vianney Catholic Church and a former member of the Catholic Daughters. Visiting on Saturday, June 4, 2016, at St. Jean Vianney Catholic Church, 16166 S. Harrell's Ferry Rd., Baton Rouge, LA from 8:30 a.m. until Mass of the Resurrection at 10:00 a.m. conducted by Rev. Tom Ranzino. Ascension Funeral Home, Gonzales, LA in charge of arrangements.
