Michael Tortorich

On April 18, 2024, at 8:30am Michael Joseph Tortorich passed away at OLOL Baton Rouge. Michael was 70 years old and a native of Gonzales, LA.

He is the son of Mary T. Bourque and Frank N. Tortorich.

He worked for Elayn Hunt Correctional for 8 years as an officer and instructor and worked for LCIW for 4 years as a instructor. He loved going to watch his brother race, anything with mechanic work and loved fishing with his nephew Johnny.

Mike is survived by his sister, Frankie Tortorich, niece and spouse, Rani and Sterling Grantham, nephew, Johnny Westbrook, great-nephew and niece, Jase and Jessie Grantham, good friend, Vernon LeBlanc, and neighbors, Paul and Barbara.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mary T. Bourque and Frank N. Tortorich, and brother, Roger Bourque, also sister-in-law Julie W. Bourque.

Visitation for Michael will be Wednesday, May 1^st, 2024, at Ascension Funeral Home from 10:30 am until 12:00pm.
