Max “Precious” Davis passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, LA. He was born in Stamps, Arkansas, former resident of Maurepas, LA, and a current resident of Baton Rouge and was 83 years old.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran and was very proud to serve our country. He was retired from John Crane, Inc. and was the owner/operator for B&W Hot Shot Services. He was a walking encyclopedia of history and loved to share his knowledge with others. He loved classic movies and watching sports with no volume. He was a member and usher at Family Worship Center. Visitation will be at the Crossfire Building at Jimmy Swaggart Ministry on Sunday, January 17, 2021 from 3:00pm until memorial service at 5:00pm conducted by Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart, Pastor Dave Smith, Pastor Dallas Smith and other pastors from Family Worship Center. He is survived by his wife of 36 years of marriage Gwen Davis, three daughters, Amy Chavers and husband Charles, Audra Riggins and husband Clay, and Tina Corcoran Barrow and husband Jason; four sons, Douglas Davis, Scott Davis, Dwayne Corcoran and wife Regina, and Roger Corcoran and wife Windy; twenty-one grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Nathe and Musette Davis; brother Jimmy Davis and a granddaughter, Lyndsey Langlois.
