Retired in retail sales and a resident of St. Amant, she died at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, at her home. She was 69 and a native of Independence. Visiting at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., Gonzales, on Sunday, Nov. 4, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting continues on Monday, Nov. 5, from 9 a.m. until chapel service at 11 a.m., conducted by Pastor Benny Jones. Interment in Holy Rosary Cemetery. Survived by her daughter, Shelia Ann Ballard and John Wilson son, Brent Anthony Lambert and wife Sherry sisters, Katherine Ballard and husband John Wayne, and Helen Bercegeay and husband Craig sisterinlaw, Liz McKinney brothers, Hardy McKinney and wife Mary, and Thomas McKinney and wife Mandy Fay five grandchildren and a greatgrandchild. Preceded in death by Joseph Paul T.Joe Lambert, Craig Nolan Joseph Lambert and Billy McKinney. Pallbearers will be Jarrett Ballard, Cory Lambert, Trev Bercegeay Jr., Justin Ballard, Marcus Carpenter and Dwayne McKinney. Honorary pallbearer is John Wayne Ballard.
