Mary Messina, age 97, passed away at 9:00 a.m. on Christmas Day, 2015, at Ascension Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Gonzales, LA. A resident and native of Sunshine, LA. Visiting at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, on Tuesday, December 29, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m., conducted by Father Charlie Landry. Burial in the church cemetery. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews; nephew and caregiver, Edgar J. Crochet. Preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Maria Messina; and all of her brothers and sisters. Please visit the online guestbook.
