Mary Ann Holton, age 83, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 15, 2020 at 1:45 p.m. at Capital Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Baton Rouge, LA. A resident of Prairieville, LA and native of Gonzales, LA. Visiting at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., Gonzales, LA from 9:00 a.m. until service at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Pastor James May. Burial at Hope Haven Garden of Memory, Gonzales, LA. Survived by her husband of 21 years, Lytell “Buddy” Holton; stepdaughter, Cherryl Brenner; sons, Darren Paul Gautreau and wife, Debby, and Kent Joseph Gautreau and wife, Linda; stepsons, Floyd W. Holton and wife, Connie, and Cary M. Holton; sisters, Theresa Young Gautreau and Beverly Young Rouyea; brother, Mervin P. Young and wife, Lucille; grandchildren, Niki Hatampa, Jodie Sherrill, Seth M. Holton, and Tristan Holton; and great grandchildren, Amaya, Beau, Max, and Wyatt. Preceded in death by her first husband, Nelson J. Gautreau; son, Bryce P. Gautreau; parents, Sam P. and Corrine G.
