Marie Gautreaux

A resident of Sorrento, she died on Saturday, April 03, 2010 at Gonzales Health Care Center. She was 83. Visitation will be held at St. Anne Catholic Church in Sorrento on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 from 9am until 12 noon. Rev. Michael Galea and assisted by Deacon Jerry Braud will celebrate a mass of Christian burial at 12 noon. Interment will follow in Hope Haven Cemetery, Hwy 30 in Gonzales. She is survived by her husband of sixtyfour years, Louis J. Gautreaux, Jr., two sonsanddaughtersinlaw Colbert and Edye Gautreaux, Sr. and Gabriel and Jewel Gautreaux, former daughterinlaw, Ingrid Gautreaux, a sister, Phyllis Bailey, brother, Leonce Gill Braud, Jr., six grandchildren Sandra and Bill Sullivan, Michelle and Shane Medlin, Nicole and Michael Pate, Colbert Bert Gautreaux, Jr., Simmie and Kyle Soileau and Gabriel Damien and Ashley Gautreaux and thirteen greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonce and Felicie Braud, Sr., two brothers and one sister. She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, the St. Anne Alter Society and the Gonzales area VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
