Marie Lanoux Abadie, age 80, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, LA at 3:30 p.m. A resident of Gonzales, LA and native of St. Amant, LA. She retired from Lousteau Ford (Allstar Ford Lincoln). Visiting on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church, 1022 N. Burnside Ave., Gonzales, LA from 8:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. celebrated by Rev. Eric V. Gyan. Entombment in the church mausoleum. Survived by her four daughters, Jacquee and Randy Williams, Theresa and Rich Marvin, Sondra and Paul Mayon, and Jill and David Hebert; three sons, Kenny and Stephanie Abadie, Lyman Jr. and Angela Abadie, and David Abadie; three sisters, Doris Van, Annette Lanoux, and Libby Mire; five brothers, A.J., Jerry, Dennis, Ronald, and Donald Lanoux; twenty-four grandchildren, Casey Delaune, Marquee Delaune, Jada Meynardie, Erica Solar, Ty Williams, Trevor Williams, Tory Abadie, Macy Molliere, Sammy Marvin, T. Forrest Marvin, Mary Shaw, Gina Mayon, Joseph Mayon, Alicia Modenbach, Austin Abadie, Aaron Abadie, Paige Marchand, Allison Babin, Necole Byington, Joshua Abadie, Chelsea Abadie, Destany Abadie, Lindsey Smith, and Hailey Taylor; and thirty-two great grandchildren, Harlee, Heidi, Madison, Dagger, Jaxon, Merce, Tucker, Hudson, Sawyer, Brandon, London, Brianna, Blayze, Cady, Frankie, Jude, Josie, Brenna, Aubree A., Cale, Broden, Bennett, Makayla, Alexander, Aubree P., Landon, Braeden, Brylynn, Alexa, Gage, Marley, and Malakai. Preceded in death by her husband, Lyman Abadie Sr.; sister, Rita Lanoux Bourque; three brothers, George, Leon, and Gene Lanoux; and her parents, Alfred and Ida Lanoux.
