Margerie Gautreau

Margerie Dille Gautreau, age 97, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2015, at 7:12 p.m., at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Gonzales, LA. A resident and native of Gonzales, LA. Visiting on Monday, June 8, 2015, at Ascension Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Visiting resumes on Tuesday, June 9, 2015, at St. Mark Catholic Church, from 9:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., conducted by Rev. Rubin Reynolds. Interment at Hope Haven Garden of Memory. Survived by two daughters, Kathleen Gordon and husband, Monroe and Barbara Malbrough (Virgil Ruiz); daughter-in-law, Sandra Gautreau; two sons, Steve A. Gautreau and wife, Kathy and Donnie P. Gautreau; two sisters, Hilda Landaiche and husband, Donald, and Alice Thompson; six grandchildren, Rhett Cornett and wife, Tracy, Rachel Raffray and husband, Tony, Shellie Ramirez and husband, Paul "Boo", Brady Butler and wife, Laura, Kim Hammond and husband, Kenny, and Angie Gautreau; and fifteen great grandchildren, Jordon, Jaci, Justin, Tony Jr. and wife, Lauren, Cody, Karli, Chelsea, Sarah, Brennan, Taylor, Madison, Jaden, Mason, Emma, and Hayden. Preceded in death by her husband, Marshal J. Gautreau Sr.; son, Marshal J. Gautreau Jr.; an infant son; her parents, Ulysse and Enola Dille; stepfather, Moise Dille; two sisters, Laura Gautreau and Elaine Webb; and son-in-law, Marc T. Malbrough. Pallbearers, Rhett Cornett, Justin Cornett, Brady Butler, Paul Ramirez Jr., Kenny Hammond, and Tony Raffray. She was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church.
