Margaret Ann Thibeau Thomassie, age 54, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at 6:30 a.m. A resident and native of Gonzales, LA. Visiting at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., Gonzales, LA, on Sunday, June 12, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visiting resumes on Monday, June 13, from 8:00 a.m. until service at 10:00 a.m. conducted by her brother-in-law, Larry Bates. It was her wishes to be cremated. Survived by her husband, Charles Joseph Thomassie Sr.; a son, Charles "CJ" Joseph Thomassie Jr.; and three sisters, Joyce Sharp, Frances Bates and husband, Larry, and Margie Chambers. Preceded in death by her parents, Murry and Lucille Thibeau; a sister, Mary Hodges; and two brothers, Jerry Hughes and David Hughes.
