Lynette Bell

The Lord has called his dear daughter Lynette Miller Bell, to her Heavenly Home on Saturday, January 23, 2016. Though from this world Lynette is gone forever, Lynette will continue to live in us always. At her departure, Lynette was surrounded by her loving family at home. She was 55 years old, a resident and native of Baton Rouge, LA. Visiting at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., Gonzales, LA, on Tuesday, January 26, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visiting on Wednesday, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Hwy. 73, Prairieville, LA, from 9:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. celebrated by Rev. Jerry Martin. Interment at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by her husband, David E. Bell; mother, Gail B. Miller; daughter, Jessica Marie Bell; son, David Eric Bell; two sisters, Michelle Freeman and husband, Bill and Madeline Sandridge and husband, Brad; brother, William M. Miller III and wife, Brenda; aunts & uncles, Delaine Gautreaux, Bobby & Joanie Miller, Mary & Mike Smith, Robin & Chris Buskiwicz; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her father, William Matthew Miller Jr. Pallbearers will be William Miller, Matt Miller, Bill Freeman, Greg Freeman, Sean Freeman, and Brad Sandridge. She was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Lynette was devoted to serving the families of the men and women who have so proudly served in the military and those who have given the ultimate sacrifice. The Blue Star Moms were of special importance to her. She valued the opportunity to being involved with the family members of our troops and our fallen heroes. The Bell family would like to extend their sincere thanks to our wonderful friends at St. Joseph Hospice. Their love and devotion is to be admired by her family. Thank you, to all of the family and friends for their presence and prayers. A special thanks to Gail Miller, Delaine Gautreaux, Michelle Freeman, Doris Lee Matherne, and Jody McCall.
