Lucille Ward

Lucille Simmons Ward was called home by her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, December 18, 2013. Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Joseph Ward her son, Donald Joseph Ward II her sister, Margaret Simmons Bush and her brother, Lawrence Ray Simmons. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by her daughters and their spouses, Adaire Ward Yarbro and husband David, and Donna Ward Baca and husband Rene her grandchildren, David, Boyce, and Adam Yarbro, Victoria and Justin Miller, Therese and Charles Presley, and Joseph and Sandra Baca her greatgranddaughter, Aria Miller and her brother, Bill Byrd. We would like to thank Old Jefferson Community Care Center for their service to our mother. Visitation will be at Ascension Funeral Home, 427 W. New River St., Gonzales, LA 70737, on Saturday, December 21, 2013 from 10 am until funeral service at 11 am conducted by Rev. Jim Efferson.
