Lorraine Louise Moran, age 81, was born on October 23, 1934, in Dallas, TX and passed away peacefully on Monday, September 19, 2016, at 2:20 p.m. at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice in Baton Rouge, LA. She was a resident of Denham Springs, LA. She was a cafeteria worker at St. Amant High School. Visiting at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 44450 Hwy. 429, St Amant, LA, on Thursday, September 22, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Rev. Michael Galea. Burial in Holy Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery. Survived by her daughter, Vanessa Martin; two sons, James C. Moran and Rodlynn Moran; seven grandchildren, Brigg Moran, Chanta Lambert, Garrett Martin and wife, Heather, Brittanie Hutchison and husband, Will, Brennan Martin and wife, Shelley, Hope Roberson and husband, Donald, and Craig Kelly and wife, Shelley; and eight great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Claude "Red" Moran; daughter, Claudette Moran; and two brothers, Milton and Raul Bourgeois. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
