Loretta Cormier Guillory, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at 2:30 a.m. at her home in Dutchtown, LA. She was 80 years old, born on February 24, 1936 in Eunice, LA and native of Gonzales, LA. Visiting at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., Gonzales, on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Visiting on Wednesday, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Prairieville, LA, from 9:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Rev. Jerry Martin. Interment in Hope Haven Garden of Memory, Prairieville, LA. Survived by her husband, Herbert J. Guillory; two daughters, Alena Dale "Nouchie" White and husband, Craig and Tracey Faye Guillory; three sons, Joseph Guillory and wife, Tammy, William "Billy" Guillory and wife, Josette, and Gary Guillory and wife, Andree`; one brother, Dewey Cormier; six grandchildren, C. J. White and wife, Erica, Monique Babin and husband, Josh, Reed Guillory and wife, Amy, Justin Guillory, Elise Guillory, and Madison Guillory; and six great grandchildren, Kaylee, Brantley, Beau, Ann, Eric, and Grace. Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Pearl Cormier; fifteen sisters and brothers; and an infant granddaughter, Lisa. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
