November 6, 1928 — September 10, 2010
A wife and mother, she died at 4:20 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, 2010, at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice. She was 81, a resident of Prairieville and a native of New Orleans. Visiting at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., Gonzales, Sunday, Sept. 12, from 1 p.m. until service at 3 p.m., conducted by Dr. Don M. Shipley Jr. She is survived by her husband, Otis C. McNeese a daughter, Kathleen McNeese Matzen a son, Michael C. McNeese two brothers, Charles Edmonds Jr. and Garcia Edmonds four grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and two brothers.
