Lloyd Young Sr.

Lloyd Raphael Young Sr. passed away on Monday, January 19, 2015 at 3:12 am at The Carpenter House in Baton Rouge, LA.
He was 86 years old and a native of Gonzales, LA. Lloyd was a resident of Baton Rouge and former longtime resident of Gonzales. He was a retired Art Conservator and served in the LA National Guard.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 23, 2015, St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church, Gonzales, LA at 8:30 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am conducted by Rev. Eric V. Gyan. Entombment will be at Hope Haven Garden of Memory Mausoleum. Survived by his daughters; Lynne Roux and husband Paul, Cynthia "Noonie" Babin and husband Larry, Rhonda Harrington and husband David; son, Lloyd R. "Buddy" Young Jr. and wife Michele "Mickey";
10 grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by wife of 61 years, Samantha B. Young.
He was a lifetime member of St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church.
