Lindy Reeves Fordham

Lindy Reeves Fordham, age 46, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023, at her home. A resident of Ruston, LA and native of Luling, LA, Lindy attended Nicholls State University and obtained her master’s degree in Education from Our Lady of Holy Cross College. Lindy pursued a career in education and found joy and fulfillment in teaching children with severe/profound disabilities. Lindy had a loving, generous heart and always supported those around her. Her greatest joys were her husband, family, nieces and nephews and pets Itsy, Ridgy, and Elsa.

Visitation will be at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 New River St. Gonzales, LA on Friday, October 27, 2023, at 10:00 am until chapel service at 12:00 pm. Interment at Hope Haven Garden of Memory, Gonzales, La.

Lindy is survived by her husband Philip Fordham, father Kenneth Reeves, sister Kristy Allen and husband Ryan, brother Christopher Reeves and wife Kaci; niece Abigail (16) and nephews Lee (14) & Austin (12). In-Laws Dennis and Elinor Fordham. Sister-in-law Jennifer Blanco and husband Justo, Carole Fordham, Rachel Fordham; nephew Justo (5). She is preceded in death by her mother Barbara “Chris” Reeves, paternal grandparents Owen and Stella Reeves and maternal grandparents, Melbourne K and Eleanor J. Weaver.
