Linda Villnuve

Born Aug. 28, 1953, Linda "Sue" Villnuve, a native of Cleveland, Ohio, and longtime resident of Ascension Parish, passed away Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016. A loving mother and grandmother, Linda is now freed from the bonds of this world and rests peacefully in the merciful and kind arms of our Lord. Visitation at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., Gonzales on Friday, Jan. 8, 2016 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with memorial service beginning at 7 p.m. conducted by Deacon Brent Duplessis. She will be laid to rest at New River Baptist Cemetery near her father. She is survived by brothers, Scott Villnuve and Rob Villnuve; sister, Denise Villareal; five children, Kent Villnuve and wife, Kerry, Emily Lessard, Kristen Lessard, Nicole Rodgers, and Kay Williams; and ten grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Donald Villnuve, and mother, Emily June Humphries.
