Linda Farnsworth

Linda Cheryl Farnsworth, age 69, born on April 22, 1947 in Wichita, KS, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at her residence at Sunrise Assisted Living in Baton Rouge, LA. She was a retired social worker, having received her master's degree from LSU. Visiting at First United Methodist Church of Gonzales, 224 W Constitution St, Gonzales, LA, on Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until memorial service at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Rev. Steve Berger. Survived by her sister, Suzanne F. Mayfield and husband, Jerry; two nieces, Laura Griggs and husband, Trent and Jennifer Flanagan and husband, Michael; nephew, Cameron Mayfield; grandniece, Hailey Griggs; and four grandnephews, Michael Griggs, Liam Flanagan, Rowan Flanagan, and Jack Flanagan. Preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Jean Farnsworth. The family wants to give a special thanks to the staff at Sunrise Assisted Living on Siegen Lane for the care given to Linda for the last five years. They truly became her family.
