Lenora Russell

Lenora "Kitty" Russell, age 84, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2016 at 1:10 a.m. at The Crossing at Clarity Hospice in Baton Rouge, LA. She was a resident and native of Lake, LA. Visiting at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St., Gonzales, LA on Friday, October 28, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visiting on Saturday, from 1:00 p.m. until service at 2:30 p.m. conducted by Bro. Kerry Ash. Interment in Lake Cemetery. Survived by three sons, Kenneth W. Russell and wife, Vanessa, Roger D. Russell and wife, Lynette, and Jimmy L. Russell and wife, Dianna; one brother, Luther Mayers and wife, Peggy; twelve grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by two sisters, Laura Roussel and Lillian Pendarvas; three brothers, Lloyd Mayers, Linden Mayers, and Lionel Mayers; her parents, Leehonest and Ethel Mayers; and great granddaughter, Britnee Duplessis. Pallbearers, Roger Russell Jr., Shane Russell, Jimmy Russell Jr., Scott Russell, Jason Russell, and Richmond Rushing.
