Kevin Krantz

He was a 9th grade student at Dutchtown High School. Kevin was born August 5, 1992 in Metairie, LA and died on February 15, 2008 in Prairieville, LA. He was 15 years old. He resided in St. Bernard Parish for thirteen years until Hurricane Katrina relocated his family to the Prairieville area. Kevin had a unique sense of humor that all of his friends loved. He was a chess playing, style conscious kid. A real jokester, nature lover, he was a devoted pet owner and UFC fan. He also was a junk food enthusiast and all around fun loving young man, everyone that knew him will always love and miss him dearly. Words cannot express how much we, his family will truly miss him. He will live in our hearts forever. Memorial services will held on Saturday, February 23, 2008 Household of Faith Church, 10469 Airline Hwy, Gonzales LA 70737 from 12pm until 2pm. Pictures of Kevin would be appreciated to add to the collage of his life. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lisa Stanley Krantz Family Fund at Whitney Bank. He is the cherished son of Lisa and Stanley Krantz, III, beloved brother of Kyle and Katelyn Krantz. He is also survived by paternal grandmothers, Elaine P. Vicknair and Ana Francesca Krantz and great grandmother, Magdalena Platz. He will be sadly missed by a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by paternal grandfathers, Stanley J. Krantz, Jr. and Melvin Vicknair and maternal grandparents, Larry and Joan Powell. We are truly grateful of the generosity shown of Ascension Funeral Home and Household of Faith Church. Your selfless acts of love have been embedded in our hearts forever. Thank you for helping us through this tragic time of need.
