Kermy Fontenot

Kermy Joseph Fontenot, went to his Heavenly Home on January 9th, 2022, at the age of 84, in Baton Rouge. He was a native of Ville Platte and Gonzales. He was a retired mechanic and former owner of Gonzales Starter and Alternator Rebuilder. He is survived by his two daughters, Melissa Brignac (Russell), and Debra Cox, son, Glenn Fontenot, former son-in-law, Jerry, daughter-in-law Rachel, 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-grandson on the way, and 2 brothers and 1 sister. Preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Fontenot, both parents, son, Phillip, 1 daughter-in-law, Aida, 1 granddaughter, Chu-chi, 5 brothers, and 3 sisters. Visitation will be at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 W. New River St, Gonzales, LA, Wednesday, January 12th, 2022, from 10:00am until the funeral service at 12:00pm in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will follow at Hope Haven Garden of Memory in Gonzales.
