Kenneth Ray Lessard


Born Dec. 8, 1947, Kenneth Ray Lessard, a native of Sorrento, passed away Friday, Feb 10, 2012. A loving husband, father, and grandfather, Kenneth is now freed from the bonds of this world and rests peacefully in the merciful and kind arms of our Lord. Visitation at Ascension Funeral Home in Gonzales on Thursday, Feb. 16, from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Visitation resumes at Ascension Funeral Home from 1pm 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, followed by funeral services. Burial will follow at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Amant. He is survived by wife Ann Moore Lessard seven children, Kenny Lessard and wife Victoria, Katie Lessard Guidry and husband Shane, Karen Lessard and husband Dennis PNut Buquet, Kent Villnuve and fianc Kerry Jenkins, Nicole Cannon, Emily Lessard, and Kristin Lessard three stepchildren, Thomas Vilo, Terry Vilo, and Pam Vilo fourteen grandchildren, and one greatgrandchild. He was proceeded in death by his father, Nelson Lessard, and mother, Jeanetta Lessard.
