Katie Millett

A resident of Gonzales, she died on Friday, December 11, 2009 in Nash County, NC. She was 86. She worked and retired from the Ascension Parish School system with over twenty years of service. Visitation will be held at Ascension Funeral Home, 426 West New River St., Gonzales, on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at 1pm. Religious services will be held in the funeral home chapel at 3pm. Interment will be in Lusk Cemetery. She is survived by; her daughter and son-in-law, Effie and Terry Fife, her son and daughter-in-law, Lawrence and Sandra Millet, one sister, Ruby Ellisar, two grandchildren; Terry Fife, Jr. and Ashley Braselton and three great-grandchildren; Shoen, Katlin and Jacob. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Millet, parents, Jeff and Lena Gore Richardson, six sisters and five brothers.
